The word "typhoon" is thrown around a lot these days... but there are moments when you wish you hadn't so carelessly used it. You see, in about 6 hours quite a bad motherfucker of a typhoon is hitting Taiwan. The system is pretty darn big and hopefully I won't have to put on the scuba gear that's scattered around the house... yet somehow just having it here feels safe.
Am I nervous? No, I'm a beaming ray of happiness. It will be super-duper awesome to experience it. I like mother nature and her super-duper awesome powers of awesomeness. Me and Mike have bought supplies and invited a couple of friends over to spend the weekend all stuck in the mountains. I'm looking forward to it.
Apart from that there's not much to say. Life keeps on truckin' as usual. I have about one week left at work and I'll see what happens after that. I don't worry too much really, there's always work out there.. and if I can't find work, I'll just survive anyway.
The internet will probably get knocked out during the typhoon so... I'll catch you on the flip side.
