I am now spending my days as "TEACHER ANDERS, TEACHER ANDERS, HELP ME TEACHER ANDERS!!!". It's a good job. Thank you Teaching Director Ariel and so on.
Two new people have moved into the dojo; Noel and his wife Jennie. They're both 30-ish and have lived in Taiwan for a lot of years. They went back to Canada but missed this nice island so much so they came back. They will live at the dojo until they find a permanent place to live. Wee.
Finally, I can also share with me some strange things I have noticed about Taiwan and Taiwanese...
You will always get a large frickin' drink when you order food at a fast food restaurant.
They don't have their toilet paper on a roll, instead they have single tissues wrapped up in a plastic thingie.
All the locks on the doors are located IN the handle.
It's impossible to order just ordinary water at a fast food restaurang. You can try, but it always ends up with them just going for the safest bet and giving you cola.
It's illegal not to sort your garbage.
